Role overview

Vice President – Finance & Accounts — this senior leadership position at 24/7 Digital Counseling & Therapy (24/7 DCT) calls for a seasoned finance executive to shape fiscal strategy, strengthen controls, and scale accounting operations for a rapidly expanding, remote-first mental and behavioral healthcare provider. You will partner with the executive team to ensure sustainable growth while maintaining regulatory and payer compliance for U.S. operations.

Key responsibilities

•  Direct budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and long-term financial planning to support strategic objectives.
• Produce timely, accurate management and statutory reports compliant with U.S. GAAP and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting, month-end close, audits, and cash flow processes.
• Lead revenue cycle management, billing strategy, and relationships with payers and vendors.
• Monitor performance metrics, generate actionable insights, and recommend operational improvements.
• Design and deploy scalable systems and automation suitable for a distributed workforce.
• Identify financial risks and implement mitigation plans, including cost-control and efficiency initiatives.
• Mentor and manage remote finance and accounting teams, ensuring accountability and professional development.

Required qualifications

• 12 years or more of hands-on, progressive experience managing finance and accounting functions.
• At least 6 years of working with global accounting standards and U.S.-focused healthcare finance preferred.
• Demonstrated background in behavioral or mental health financial operations is highly desirable.
• Proven experience supporting night-shift schedules that align with U.S. business hours (minimum 5 years).
• Advanced skills in financial modeling, ERP/accounting platforms, and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payer systems, reimbursement mechanisms, and relevant legal requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communicator with strong strategic thinking and proven team leadership.
