Role overview

Manager – Education and Research needed in Lahore to lead curriculum design, program evaluation, and capacity-building initiatives for Aalam Bibi Foundation. This on-site role combines educational leadership with applied research to improve learning outcomes and scale community programs. The ideal candidate will design measurable interventions, manage training delivery, and build collaborative relationships with schools and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of educational programs, curricula, and learning resources.
• Develop and deliver training and coaching sessions for teachers, facilitators, and community staff.
• Design monitoring and evaluation frameworks; collect and analyse program data to measure impact.
• Produce research briefs, reports, and evidence-based recommendations to inform strategy.
• Coordinate partnerships with educational institutions, local stakeholders, and NGOs.
• Manage program schedules, budgets for learning initiatives, and reporting timelines.
• Supervise project-level documentation, ensure compliance with internal policies, and support grant reporting when required.
• Promote continuous improvement by piloting innovations and scaling effective approaches.

Required qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Research Methods, or a related field (required).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in education program management, curriculum development, or applied research.
• Practical experience designing M&E tools, conducting needs assessments, and using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Strong facilitation skills and experience delivering adult training or teacher coaching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Urdu proficiency preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on schedule.
• Proficiency with common office tools and basic data-analysis software.
